Rosso ConeroVineyards: Grapes are all grown on the estate at Numana. The vineyards lie on the foothills of Monte Conero about one km from the coast.
Soil: The land is formed of brown calcareous soil overlying marl and gravel or sand, dating from the lower pliocene and pleistocene.
Grape variety: Selected Montepulciano grapes.
Production: Crushed grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks. Skin contact varies according to the quality of the grapes. After completion of the malolactic fermentation the wine is aged in oak barrels for 12 - 15 months.
Organoleptic qualities: Colour: deep ruby.
Bouquet: intense and fragrant.
Flavour: soft, dry and elegant. |
