Production Area

Grapes are produced on the estate situated one km from the coast.

Soil

Formed in the medium-upper Pliocene Epoch, the land differs according to the site from lime-clay to sandy lime-clay soil.

Grape variety

Montepulciano 100%.

Production technique

Fermentation of perfectly ripe and highly selected grapes takes place in stainless steel tanks with maceration on the skins for approximately 8-9 days. After completion of the malolactic fermentation, the wine is refined in small French oak barrels for around 12-18 months.  A minimum of 12 months of aging in the bottle to complete the evolution of the wine.

Organolectic characteristics

A deep ruby colour.  An intense and persistent nose with a hint of ripe fruit, dried flowers and slightly spicy.  Long, persistent  to taste with a high level of balance between fruit and tannins.
